Welcome to my Creations!

Each section is dedicated towards a specific class or project that I have created in which I was proud of the outcome and would like to showcase!

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

Early this past March in my Visual Merchandising class, my partner Ally and I had the opportunity to decorate a display case in which we were required to choose a theme and decorate accordingly. The theme we chose was "Minimalism" or "Minimalistic Chic" as we felt that this best represented both of our own style choices. As a team, we pulled garments and accessories from our closets and styled our mannequins to the best of our ability along with props from our visual merchandising closet. The vibe for the setting of the display case is supposed to symbolize a luxurious garden setting as if the two mannequins are friends meeting up for a lunch date in Spring or Summer. One of our goals as well was to deliver the vibe of "Silent Luxury" or "Old Money" with the style of the clothing and the setting as Ally and I both love that aesthetic!

APPAREL CONSTRUCTION 1

In my Apparel Construction 1 class, I had the opportunity of creating this dress for our Fall 2025 Showcase where the theme was "The Ivory Theater" in which we had the option of creating a look for The Phantom of the Opera or Swan Lake. I took my creative vision and drew inspiration from one of my favorite Barbie movies "Barbie: Swan Lake" and created this lovely ethereal dress. The main fabrics I used to make this dress were ivory polyester satin and pearled tulle. In addition, I also hand sewed pink and blue jeweled gems into the front bodice and princess seams to capture the essence and color inspiration of the main dress Odette wore in Barbie; Swan Lake. As this was the very first dress I've ever created, I could not have been more proud of myself and it came out exactly how I envisioned it!

APPAREL CONSTRUCTION 2

During this current Spring semester, I've had the opportunity to create this full corset and skirt look for Brookdale Community College's Spring Fashion 2026 show titled "Melomania" in which the theme is Music! This look was inspired by one of my favorite Latina artists, Karol G and her album cover "Mañana Será Bonito". As her album cover includes various bold colors and animation, Karol G herself is known to have very vibrant and colorful looks whether performing in concert or on the red carpet. I wanted to create a look that embodied what Karol G would typically wear on stage performing for thousands of fans as well as capture that pop star style by adding a bit of bling and sparkle to it with the use of rhinestones!

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

For my Product Development class this Spring 2026 semester, an assignment that we had was to create a digital collection for our own brand in which I created mine titled "The Calm before Autumn", a Pre-Fall collection. As our collections will be finalized at the end of the semester, I thought I would give a glimpse into what my collection will look like in terms of vision and styling. As this collection is "Pre-Fall", it captures very warm and earthy tones as a transition into Autumn while keeping in mind that the weather is still warm. This collection so far, has had many components in terms of gathering inspiration such as creating mood boards, creating our own color palettes, creating our own fabric palettes and identifying the target market of the collection. Overall, I am very proud and excited of the vision I have for this collection and cannot wait to create the finalized details!

Brand Mood board

As I have created many different mood boards for my classes this Spring semester, I thought it would be fun to share a glimpse of the vibe and direction I was aiming for this semester! From warm and neutral earthy tones, to bold and vibrant colors and to an assortment of fabric selections, I can proudly say that I have captured the essence of what I want my personal brand to embody!
